Avitz is an Israeli freelance artist and art teacher with more then 15 years of professional experience.

 

He graduated with Bachelor of Fine Arts in film and animation from the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York and started working as an artist on Nickelodeon’s Blue’s Clues in New York. Following that Avitz lead an art team at "Digital Production Solutions Israel" animation studio. In 2005, Avitz worked as an artist at DKP Animation and Mainframe Entertainment animation studios in Canada​.

Since 2006 Avitz has worked as a freelance illustrator and artist for private clients as well as an artist in the advertising industry.

​

Avitz worked as a lecturer in numerous academic institutions such as The Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Tel-Chay Academy, Camera Obscura Arts Academy, Minshar Academy of Arts in Tel Aviv and Indiana University, USA.

​In his years as an artist, Avitz held several art shows in Israel and the US.
